Personal data we process
Your personal data may be used by Costero B.V. in various ways. We will always strive to be as transparent as possible about how we use your data.

Use of costero's servic
We process personal data in connection with the legal obligation to ensure the safety of medicines and to process reports of adverse reactions or other product-related notifications. Therefore, Costero B.V. may need to process information about your health, which is considered sensitive personal data about you. We may also collect personal data that allows us to verify the existence of an actual patient (based on gender and date of birth) and, if necessary, your contact information to respond to your request. To the extent necessary and/or legally required to share this information with our client or a third party, the information will be pseudonymized.

Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data
Costero B.V. processes your personal data in the context of the legal pharmacovigilance obligations that our clients have within the pharmaceutical industry. This promotes safe and effective use of medicines. We would like to inform you that, in order to properly answer your questions, the information you share with us may be shared with our clients, affiliated companies, partners, or regulatory authorities. When we share such personal data, we only share the information deemed necessary and pseudonymize such personal data.

Automated decision-making
Costero B.V. does not carry out automated processing, namely decisions made by computer programs or systems without human intervention (for example, a Costero B.V. employee). Therefore, there are no decisions made regarding matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals.

How long do we retain your personal data
Costero B.V. does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties
Costero B.V. does not sell your data to third parties and only shares it if necessary to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into data processing agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Viewing, modifying, or deleting data
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to revoke your consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Costero B.V., and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization you have mentioned. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or request to revoke your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@costero.eu. To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your ID with the request. Please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Costero B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration.
